Hey, I'm carmen
Also known as mom, mommy, moooommyyyyy and baaaaaby!
I am a mother, a dog-mother, a partner, being a woman, and everything in between, I started writing my journey for a number of reasons:
- I want you to learn from my mistakes
- These things happen to a lot of parents, this is a safe place to say ‘OMG, me too’
- Motherhood comes with a lot of challenges and it’s OK to say ‘off this’
- I wish I had a community like this to read when I was pregnant
- I absolutely love this!
My life is filled with cuteness overloaded and meltdowns, with pure love and utter chaos, with moments of ‘where is your bottle’ and ‘mommy needs a different bottle’, with ‘stop running after the dog with a broom’ to ‘Cookie don’t steal that toy’.
Being a mother, a partner and a woman feels like being 3 different people with 3 different personalities, the mother wants to protect and take care of everybody’s needs, the partner wants to go out on dates and holidays and the woman wants to put on makeup and watch a movie.
I might not be teaching you things, but you are sure to relax, have fun and enjoy our journey, and maybe, who knows, you might even decide what you want to do with your kids.

Let's Dive In
Motherhood is so complicated and time consuming. When to take care of the kids? When to run the errands? When to be present in your partnership? When to go to work?
Think fast, what did you have to eat for breakfast yesterday? Aha, I don’t remember either. We do everything as fast as possible only so we can squeeze in a day more things, and it still seems like it’s never enough. When to grow a business? When to learn everything there is to learn? Being an entrepreneur is also time-consuming.
I love being a mother, it’s truly the best thing I will ever be. I also miss having a glass of whiskey cream without a little munchkin asking to taste it. There’s nothing wrong to miss the things you were able to do before you were a parent. Society’s norms are telling us that we shouldn’t miss anything, and if we say something we appear ungrateful and distasteful parents. They won’t say that to a man though.
I went off on a tangent, the point is, I am here to encourage you to pursue the things that you miss. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, I cannot stress this enough.
If you want to be an entrepreneur? You should. You should learn how to do it. You should just go for it.
