How to become a mompreneur
Let’s start with the question, why should you become a mompreneur?
Because this is the coolest club to be in! I’m joking, but in all seriousness, it is really cool to be a mompreneur. You gain financial freedom, and what we want most as parents: work around our family instead of having a family around work.
Maybe you are like me, and you don’t like having people tell you what to do. Being your own boss can get rid of that problem for good.
Maybe you have an idea of what the perfect boss is, and you want to be that boss.
Maybe you want to go on holiday more often, working from home will definitely help you with that one.
Whichever your reason is to become a mompreneur, it’s valid, and you should take pride in it because not everybody dares to go for it.
WHAT IS A MOMPRENEUR?
As a mompreneur, I have found that combining the
responsibilities of being a mother with running my own business has been both
challenging and rewarding. When I started my business, I knew that it would
require a lot of time and effort, but I was determined to make it work. We, as
mompreneurs, understand that balancing our family and business responsibilities
can be difficult, but we have found ways to make it work.
One of the benefits of being a mompreneur is that we are
able to pursue our passions and turn our hobbies into a profitable business.
For me, it was important to find something that I loved doing, and that also
allowed me to spend time with my family. By starting my own business, I was
able to set my own schedule and priorities, which has allowed me to better
manage both my family and work responsibilities.
Of course, being a mompreneur comes with its own set of
challenges. There are times when I have had to put my business on hold to focus
on my family, and there have been times when I have had to put my family on
hold to focus on my business. We, as mompreneurs, have to be flexible and
adaptable, and we have to be willing to make sacrifices when necessary.
Despite the challenges, I have found that being a mompreneur
is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. It has allowed me to take control of my
career and my family life, and it has given me a sense of independence that I
never had before. I have also found that there is a supportive community of
other mompreneurs who are always willing to offer advice and support.
In conclusion, being a mompreneur is not always easy, but it
is definitely worth it. If you are considering starting your own business, I
would encourage you to go for it. Surround yourself with a supportive community
of other mompreneurs, and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
With hard work and determination, you can achieve success as a mompreneur.
HOW TO BECOME A MOMPRENEUR
This is the most important question, right?
The most important step is, be patient. We are mothers, we have a lot of engagements, and sometimes, finding time to run our own business whilst making sure the kids are fed, clean and healthy is hard.
We can barely use the toilet on our own, talk about free time.
Start from your phone, decide what you want to do, use the notes app and write there what you decided your first steps are, and into which direction.
When the kids take a nap, or right before you go to sleep, take ten minutes to research your interests, make notes.
You think “ten minutes is not enough”, I assure you, ten minutes is all you need. With time you will learn how to squize in more and more work, up until you are running both house and kids and business at the same time!
Be realistic with your time. Don’t give yourself too much to do when you know it is nearly impossible to get it done. Try 3-5 tasks a day. And don’t forget to reward yourself when teh tasks are done!!!!! Super important that one – at the end of today l will enjoy a glass of bubbles because I did my tasks, kids are fed, washed and sleeping, blog post is up, all messages answered – like a boss mama.
Take a step back, and see what type of attitude you have. Are you generally positive or negative? Trust me, the law of attraction is real – in fact, I am giving you homework – read the book called The Magic by Rhonda Byrne, it will definitely change your outlook on life.
If you have already read this book – what did you think about it? and if not – you can get it off amazon
